I actuall;y know ONE of the three families that started Cracker Barrel. The wife of an old friend of mine, her grandfather was sitting in a meeting with two other men discussing starting up a company long ago. Cracker Barrel came out of that meeting the three freinds had.. So my freind's wife is a relative of one of the founders. She also was THE corporate attorney for Xerox corporation like my daughter who lives in your area is the corprorate attorney for the extra large medical services corporation who has offices in every state in the country and LOTS of cities... They are HUGE to say the least.. They hired her away from her LAw firm where she was tapped to be a Partner after six months.

She works from home in her office at the house... Asd does my son in law there.

Miss them and my grandsons there as I cannot get down there to visit...

No Boss.
It was not PG that was looking to buy my shares.
And, yeah, they did know how many shares I own.

I shredded the 'offer'. And I don't remember just
what name it was . . . But I am certain they was
nothing more than thieves. I'm not even certain
they would have paid me the $106 they claimed to
be offering . . .

By the way now, twice companies I own have had some
'vulture capital' types trying to cram one or more
of 'theirs' onto the Board of Directors. I forget who
the first one was, but recently Cracker Barrel had
one. Both times there were 'white' colored proxy
vote cards from the company and 'gold' colored proxy
vote cards from the thieving shysters. Both times
I voted for the existing board.
