Re: “So if you like to interract with people on a platform like facebook I would suggest trying out their alternative. Just emember that there is ZERO censoring which means you canhave rude and crude persons stalking you as well... They won't be censored...”
There's little censoring by Mewe's management. But users have good control over who they are in contact with, and they can shut down communication between themselves and anyone else whenever they choose. Think of it as being like AtomicBobs, but every user manages their own forum and automatically sees new posts in their friends' forums. Communication is open ... but at each user's discretion.

In contrast, Facebook took it upon itself to rate its members as 'Liberals' and 'Conservatives.' That alone took some juevos. It then stopped distributing posts by people in one group to people in the other. So, even though I'm friends with liberals, Facebook intercedes in our attempts at conversation and makes communication difficult by not automatically delivering the messages. I think it's outrageous.

Mewe seems to be very much like Facebook was when I first started using it. It's worlds better than Facebook is today except in one key area: It needs people. Three million users sounds like a lot, but it really isn't. Facebook has three BILLION users. That could quickly change in Mewe's favor or it could take a decade. There's no way of knowing.

Re: “ who possesses some skill sets”
Some skill sets that are nearly useless. I wish I had become an electrician when I was young. Then I'd still be able to do something valuable in my retirement. You know, I don't even know how to field dress a deer, much less butcher one. I participated in both about ten years ago, but I'd make a mess of it for sure if I were trying to do it on my own today. Next year, I expect to be in the new house and hunting the property. It'll be embarrassing (but possibly entertaining for you guys.)

My wife can outshoot me. I can't seem to get the mice out of my attic. I had to buy a new snow blower because I don't know how to unclog the old one that I STUPIDLY let sit for a year with ethanol fuel inside. I'm waaaaay behind schedule on getting the barn organized (not entirely my fault... parts of it are still being built). And I'm so far from being able to go 'off the grid' that it's not even funny.

Moving to the country is an outstanding way of assessing one's general competence. And I can't even feed myself.
