I can relate really well to what De's thoughts that he expresed about Farcebook starting out as a great idea years ago without the lefty interference and then becoming a platform for any agency to spy on you.
My exposure level to gubmint ne'er do wells from both sides of the aisle (and there are plenty of them) for me needs to remain as reasonably closed as I am comfortable with.
I think for folks who love to socialize and keep in touch with others are blessed to be able to do so and I am happy for them..
I am not comfortable with talking to anyone and having that conversation and my personal relationships exposed to anyone on planet earth who wants to view it on ANY platform, whether it is Farcebook or Mewe.
I have been a very private person most of my life and you can count actual friends on one hand... So I do not really have any need to be exposed on a social platform.
For someone like De who is joyously finding re-aquintenances from life's years past and rekindling those interpersonal relationships, then a social media platform may be for you...
De is a remarkable sharing and and bright person who possesses some skill sets that are astonishing to me.
I love it when he shares someting new that any of us could also utilize if it fits our rationality.
Unfortunately for me, social media is not one of those and never will be.. Privacy has a higher priority to me these days...
I am THANKFUL that the new stuff like this and Parler is shared here by our resident software gurus though..
So if you like to interract with people on a platform like facebook I would suggest trying out their alternative. Just emember that there is ZERO censoring which means you canhave rude and crude persons stalking you as well... They won't be censored...
