Captain,
I see your point.. And its a good one! LOL!!!

I was speaking and replying to De about social media so just used him and how I perceive his on board personna.

I learned decades ago as my career launched from being a staff engineer, manager of Engineering, to Plant manager, COO, and then Owner of my own corporation to surropund yourself with people whose talents abilities are different than your own and maybe even as smart as yourself in some common areas.. We cannot be masters of everything.. Plus, if one is not particularly interested in a field of endeavor like Programming for example, I am grateful for those who are....
I enjoy woodworking. As a HOBBY.
You however enjoy building things and did that for a living and did it well. I could never do that...

Then we have Zim and Beldin and their skillsets.
They are both wonderfully talented people and what is really neat is that ALL the personalities here on this board are DIFFERENT.

I am a quiet person. I do speak in public when asked but never volunteer. Why? Because I also am basically introverted, I do not meet new people easily nor get to be familiar with many people. THAT is my personality..

The one we call KATHY is my opposite. She could easily be the life of a party. My wife's sister who spends Thanksgiving weekend with us and Christmas every year and in fact has her own bedroom here in my home is the life of a party.. An Outgoing personality who never met someone she didn't know... That is why family gatherings must include her to get others to interact.

If it was just me and my wife maybe three words might get spoken.... lol!!!! True...

So while De's expertise areas are well honed and on display often, so are Zim's, YOURS, Beldin's, Ribit's, Hydro_Gen, Nacl01, CTJ and of course, our resident PROFESSOR who does not speak much, but when he does, I pay attention..

My skillsets are not particualrly useful for our board's everyday stuff. I am a handyman around my house and my widowed sister in law and my other sister in law who is coming for Thanksgiving. I will do anyhing for them and have already. Including painting, remodeling, running electrical outlets or trouleshooting other issues..

Unfortunately I am declining in physical health rapidly and find I can only stand and walk for no more than about 25 minutes max. That's with two percocet in me. Hope doc finds out what is going on in my left leg now..

But I LOVE the different folks here on this board and all our senses of humor and comaraderie. I I enjoy being a part of this community and am amazed at all the different levels of expertise everyone has....

My hat is off to everyone here on our board!
