A significant storm is coming. Weather.com says

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SATURDAY TO 1 PM EST SUNDAY...

WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 14 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

WHERE...Portions of central, northern and southern New Hampshire and south central, southwest, west central and western Maine.

WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 1 PM EST Sunday.

The National Weather Service says:

The storm will produce heavy snow across portions of the Northeast on Saturday and Sunday. The snowfall totals will be 12-18 inches locally higher for interior NH and Maine

We, by the way, live in "interior NH".

And then there's AccuWeather, which paints a FAR rosier picture - quite literally since it doesn't do so with words:

The bottom line is that anything greater than 12 inches will be the biggest single storm we've experienced in the 2.5 years that we've been here. (We experienced several 20 - 30 inch storms when we lived in VA, though.) Or it may be a measly little thing not worth remembering. Fat lot of good all these weather forecasts are doing us, eh?
