It's a simple way to honor our fallen patriots by at least keeping their graves looking nice and well maintained. You probably don't want to know the maintenance costs of Arlington..

I place a wreath on my fallen brother in law's grave every year, multiple times a year. My wife and I watch over her sister.

Yes, its true that those whose remains are buried there do not know. But that really is not the point. WE KNOW. We asked these people to fight for us, to defend our way of life and keep us safe from our enemies. The least we can do is honor a FEW of them by purchasing a wreath to dress their final resting place here on this earth.

Charity and giving to charity is always a personal thing and not everyone is going to want to support the same things.. There is only so much money to go around.. So each has the opersonal decision of what they want to do with ANY particular cause or charity they would support..

It's all good.. No worries.. Thumbs Up Very Happy

I'm looking at wreaths on Amazon and have concluded that I'm badly out of touch on what they cost. Some are close to $100! Even a wreath FORM (the frame on which you'd make your own) sells for $8.99.

Sorry micro. I still think it's nuts and a stupid waste of money. I'd much rather get a list of families of military dead and send THEM the fifteen bucks. I bet they'd prefer that too.
