It may not look too scary just yet, but fourteen hours of this nightmare remain. Pray for New Hampshire!

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Re: “I wondered why you didn't use duct tape for that, but then I realized that you might be trapped in the blizzard of the century with no duct tape. How could a semi professional preparer let something like this happen.”
You've questioned my professionalism! I obviously can't let that stand. Note my emergency repair to the yardstick. It should work well unless the snow gets to 17, 18 or 19 inches in which case we'll have no idea what the snow's depth is - kinda ruining my whole experiment.

It's now 11 P.M. and I took a snapshot of the first snowflake falling. As you can see, it's approximately the size of the moon. We're in big trouble.

Now that I've raided my boat-building stash to get duct tape, I might drown if the snow melts off quickly. But at least my yardstick will still be standing... Rolling Eyes
