This is the first time I can remember where the storm fully met expectations. Twelve inches with another five to seven hours left. I had to shovel a bit just to get out to where I've been taking the photos.

The heaviest snowfall is now behind us.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

It's approaching 2 inches now, and I guess that's pretty quick accumulation. The heaviest snow is going to start coming down around 3 A.M. and last for three or four hours. I'm not going to stay up for it... gonna hit the hay. But I fully expect to see six feet on the ground when I wake. Heh. Take that, Nemo!

I'll always love New Hampshire snow.
