Received a call from Doc's Medical assitant whom I ahve known since around 1997. And Doc too. She told me that the appointment on Wednesday next week will be to discuss where do I want to go from here . I asked what does that mean.

Celeste said that Doc looked over the MRI long and hard. He found no tears. That was the good news. The bad news is the meniscus is being worn paper thin as is the knee do to the osteo arthritis in it. He simply said it was bad. I am apaprently about bone on bone. OPtions are try some shots they can inject and hope it relieves the pain but it won;t when ya stand and have to walk and are on your feet more than ten minutes... Option 2 is to discuss this further with a rally good knee replacement surgeon. I would use the same one that replaced my wife's knee some eight years ago. He has also operated on me twice himself when I had a serious compound fracture of the right arm when I slipped on ice on patio and landed on my right arm awkwardly. This was othree days before Christmas. It was ugly..

So it apears unless I hear anything different from Doc on wednesday that I am likely headed for a knee replacement if I want to be able to stand and walk on my right knee.

YES, I am right handed... So this is not good.

I also will need spine surgery sometime early in 2021 as well.. So next year is looking kinda off to a rough start....
