In the BEGINNING, GOD created the Heavens (universe) and the Earth (planet for life to habitate.)

GOD SPOKE and created these things. The universe is ever expanding.

Interesting tidbit from the Old Testament. The PALM of GOD'S hand spans the universe from one end to the other..

That alone should give people pause when we realize just how BIG IS our GOD? Well, HE told us a long time ago. Unfortunately, MOST people never take time to read HIS WORDS to learn of HIM...

We would rather listen to people who are dying, dead, have a finite lifespan rather than ONE who does not have nay of those things and has the power to speak the worlds into existence...

Stephen Hawking . I sincerely hope he is not in HELL. But it seems for all his intellect he never said much about the GOD who created Him and also provided an eternal home in Heaven for him also if he only would have accepted the offer...

I believe I will stick with what the Scriptures say rather than the figment of atheistic imaginations...

Huge smooth cosmos?
In the observable universe we got scattered chunks of
matter better known as 'galaxies'. . . Within the
galaxies themselves we got dense clumps of stars, and
areas where the stars are spread far apart.

We are a finite species in a 'universe' where there
are boundaries. Political boundaries. The boundary
of breathable air between us and outer space.

But there is the concept of infinity. One will never
find 'the biggest number' - as one can always add
another digit to it.

There is an end to our lives. There will probably be
an end to our civilization . . even an end to the
existence of our planet. But time will march on
regardless.

There is no 'beginning of time', there will be no 'end
of time'. There is no beginning or ending of space.

Those are tough concepts to grasp, but they are the
only viable ones in my universe.

But thank you for posting that article De.

Zim.
