Dahlin' ... for you, I would suggest a 9mm semi-auto you can cock and lock (i.e., hammer back and safety on). You will do better taking your first shot with a single-action pull of the trigger, than the heavier, longer double-action pull.

CJ - the gun club was at the range on Monday, the 7th. Afterwards, they emailed all of us with the type of guns that people brought.

This was VERY HELPFUL, but you do know that I have to confer with my gun enthusiast here on the board - Sir Beldin. He's pretty good at math, too.

-----------

FROM THE EMAIL:

Members brought interesting guns to train with:

Kimber 1911 pistol in 9mm;
DA/SA modern revolver in 45 Long Colt (the kick was very manageable);
Modern Henry rifle with a hardened brass receiver and curved brass butt plate in 357 Mag;
Semi-auto pistol in 45 Auto (the flying ash tray).
--------

Thanks again, CJ - and have a great day. C U soon.
