your fracture is where? Down low in the LUMBAR area Tailbone /below belt area..?

A couple of my Lumbar bones are being fused with a spacing cage in between to mainatin height, keep in substitute bone marrow , and then rods and screws are keeping things in place. It's a 2 and a half hour procedure...

I suspect what you need may be similar. Depends on whether the spacing between your vertbrae is good. Mine is not plus I have a lot of degenerative arthritis on all my lumbar vertebra..

I do hope you get the surgery Nemo It has been quite a struggle for you... Keep us posted please???

One had had was kinda cramped. I was getting claustrophobia in that thing. Mine lasted 35 minutes. Thought it would never end, AND LOUD. I even had ear muffs on....

Going in tomorrow for a CT scan and more ex rays. The CT machine looks more user friendly LOL. I have been trying to convince maself I can live without the surgery. Mega bone fusion in the lower back. Lot of recovery time, BUT I cant take the pain. I am going to get the surgery..... I started this last February, and STILL not fixed.......I am hoping soon,,,,,,,, It is hard as hell just to work on the boats. I sit down as much as I can but leaning over to paint inside and out just kills my back.......
