your fracture is where? Down low in the LUMBAR area Tailbone /below belt area..?

A couple of my Lumbar bones are being fused with a spacing cage in between to mainatin height, keep in substitute bone marrow , and then rods and screws are keeping things in place. It's a 2 and a half hour procedure...

I suspect what you need may be similar. Depends on whether the spacing between your vertbrae is good. Mine is not plus I have a lot of degenerative arthritis on all my lumbar vertebra..

I do hope you get the surgery Nemo It has been quite a struggle for you... Keep us posted please???
