...the problem is that if you don't know how many votes you need, then you don't know when to stop counting.

Game officials have stopped counting points for the evening but will resume in the morning. There are a few mail in points and some points that were discovered in the trunk of a game officials car which had not been counted. A judge has decided that "Point Harvesting" can continue until noon tomorrow.

It takes poll workers a week to count (did ya ever see them on tv?) and SOME VOTES ARE STILL UNCOUNTED AS OF RIGHT NOW.
