...it would appear that the snow sliding off the roof would pull those gutters right off the house. What we need is a gubmint program to have folks come by and shovel our snow for us. Such a labor force can only be achieved by having open borders. We should only admit the most apologetic and truly reformed gang members, murderers and rapist for this task. Being infected with some kind of disease that has been erased from our country is a plus.

That would not be a good thing in the dead of winter....”Folks compensate for this by making their roofs steep, or by putting metal "snow guards" on the edges to help some of the snow slide off before it builds up. But I'm going for an all-metal roof. They have metal interlocking shingles which are nice looking, durable AND functional. The snow slides right off.
