He De!
Yep. I Agree. I once told a reliable supplier of mine to kiss off. I did about half a million a year wih them.
I then proceeded to to purchase some additional equipment, added a little more plant space, and hired a couple of more people and supplied myself. In about four years my investment was paid for and after that I was saving money hand over fist... And no longer dependent on someone else for critical needs.. That my friend was back in the mid '90s.
I told a large retailer who wanted me to become a supplier to them I was not interested. Usually what happens then is you become a slave to them, and they tel you what your billing is going to be and it is a never ending downhill slide from there....
I learned eons ago to be an egg spreader and to deveop great relationships with other heads of companies and take care of their interests. You earn reliable customers that way and develop relationships that last rather than just another customer who comes today and is gone tomorrow..
So, yes sir, I agree with you 100 percent....
That's why I was wondering why Parler did not invest in their own cloud servers when starting up... Kinda surprising to me... Being in bed with an enemy does not make sense...
