Cop Shortage
...what's that all about? I know why the cops are leaving the job, what I don't know is why the powers that be would want the cops to leave the job. One thing I know for sure that they want to pander to the lowest common denominator in their "base". The other reason I suspect is that when the shortage gets bad enough they will start importing labor from other countries same as they have with all the other jobs. Look for big quotas from countries behind what used to be the old soviet wall. Look for bunches more from Mexico and points south. Finally we will get cops from Mogadishu and other shit holes.
...or perhaps they want to "Nationalize" police departments. All cops work for the fed. Universal standards set by blue cities in blue states.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
