De
he is speaking of INFLUENZA virii.

The yearly flu shot whichis a hit and miss thing as it only covers certain strains, is a prime example. It does not keep you from catching it. It only helps lessen the symptoms if you do have it enter into your system..

Of course Dr. Salk of the University of Cincinnai provided a solution for polio. There are other vaccines thathelp different things like SHINGLES and Pneumonia for example...

I MAY after surgery and I can actually walk again sometime, get a regular FLU shot , shingles vaccination, and my pneumonia shot.

I am susceptible to pneumonia. I do not want shingles ever, and even the current flu shots for some reason help with controlling some of the symptoms of the normal strains of flu we always get...

My wife and I cam dwn with H1N1 a few years back.. together. we were sicker than two dogs and bed ridden.. For three days.. Kids had to come over to help us.. It was bad.. Firsttime I as an adult had ever caught a strain of flu... never had since or before....

weird..

Re: “Its a VIRUS, there is NO vaccines for a VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume you mean that there has never been a vaccine for a coronavirus. As Zimbler noted, the polio vaccine is for poliovirus, the causative agent of the polio disease.

There are no vaccines for bacterial infections. But viral? Yes. There are many.
