LOL If I built your house , you wouldn't have rodent problems. It would have been built right LOL, JK....

I pointed out some flaws in the way they built your house a couple times from your pics.

My main reason for wanting access to the attic is for laying mouse bait. Rodents are a constant problem out here, and you need to be able to access the attic perimeters to effectively deal with them. The drop-down stairs are an interesting idea, but I think my attic has too many rafters to make it a place I'd often want to enter. It's not tall except down its center and it's hard to move around in. I'll take a closer look at it the next time I'm at the property.
