Manhattan DA Want Records On Trump's Seven Springs Estate
The former president wanted to develop the 213-acre estate in northern Westchester County.
BEDFORD, NY — Prosecutors in Manhattan are seeking records related to former President Donald Trump's Seven Springs estate in Westchester County.
Some of the information that has been subpoenaed concerns the value of the estate, which was purchased in 1995 for $7.5 million and was said to be worth nearly $300 million in 2012, according to reporting by The Wall Street Journal.
In 2012, Trump was trying to have the land developed into a luxury residential community. The inflation of assets for financial benefits can be a state crime.
