The hospital reviewed its records and made recommendations to the CDC. I didn't know anything about it.

I have a friend in PA who has far more serious problems than I do and is also over age 65. He said everything in the state is screwed up and almost nobody is being vaccinated. He said he doesn't even know who to ask. I gather - having talked to my sister - that this is how it is in California too.

My brother in FL is champing at the bit to get on another cruise ship. He participated in the Merck trial and *might* be immune at this point, but he doesn't know. They won't tell him if he received the real thing or a placebo. They also won't tell him if their drug worked. Anyway, he says he'll get vaccinated at the first opportunity. I told him it's not a vaccine. He says he doesn't care. He's a somewhat more trusting individual than I am.

Anyway, I'm in. Two "high risk" conditions must exist for those aged 16 to 64. Since I only have one problem, I surmise that being on blood thinner counts as #2.

I would guess that being on a blood thinner would count as #2.

If you're overweight, a smoker, a diabetic....or if you're over 65, which you're always bragging that you are NOT, then there are your additional "high risks."

I still don't want it, but somehow I think I am going to have to get it.

Nobody even really knows if it's effective.
