If the clouds are just right and I'm standing in one particular corner of the house, I can get a call out, but it more often requires that I walk to the street. Calls in don't happen and, as some of you have noticed, even incoming texts are hit-and-miss.

Surprisingly, the new property has far better reception. You'd think that because it's so remote it would be even worse. But the house is on a hill, and the hill overlooks a post office and a general store. I suspect there must be a cell tower not too far away. Reception isn't awful.
