I have managed to make it to the back office.

Trying to help prep Nemo in advance with useful things so he is not caught off gaurd. He's tough bird so he will make it.. He will be surprised at how much pain he will experience even with tons of pain killers.. He won't die but he needs to also consider plannnig on SLEEP position for when come home.

There-in is my problem. I have spent five sleepless nights in a row. Why? Pain. It fires from the low back incisions and side incisions and just unloads like a bomb going off. Knee. Now that the spine is healing the knee has begun to show itself off as to deterioration and is singing very loudly. SO I get lots of HIP PAIN from trying to lay on my sides. Either one because ya can't lay on yer back.. or stomach....

Last night: Around Midnight I finally came into my bedroom shaking like a leaf.. Pain. Miz micro went and fetched the pain meds and I took them.

I tried sleeping on the large sectional , well padded, and plenty of pillows for supports. I could not lay on my back, tried my left side and my right side and BOTH were screaming at me.. This went on for about 3 hours before I gave up.

SO I woke up miz micro... Sleep has been the number problem for me and I want Nemo to consider in advance of HOW he can best avoid this same issue.
I sat on the edge of our bed for awhile hoping the pain hot spots would calm down.

I finally figured out that my HIPS are all just hyper-sensitive because I wind up laying on them all the time. Then my knee starts really throbbing. So I get shooting pains emanating from inside the knee like an internal explosion.

The solution last night: I figured out I need to lay on the opposite side and that if I tried laying where I normally do in bed, I have to completely turn my body over in order to get to my left side.

Answer was sleep with my head where my feet would be. o I moved my head pillow down to bottom of bed and had my feet headed up toward where my head normally is. Miz micro stayed where she normally sleeps at so my feet were not far from her. LOL!

Well, it worked somewhat. I did get some sleep. I was still very sore on my sides and from the multiple incisions, but eventually fatigue got me..

So we will try it again tonight.. It makes sense to reverse the foot/head position to avoid too much body rollover and and twist, which should be avoided at all costs with a fusion. Hopefuly I can sleep tonight.

I need to catch up on that today as well.

My right hip is throbbing as I sit here and type. My right knee is doing the same with shooting pain coming out of the center of it.. I am due for pain pills now and need to sleep.

Justthink, I only have to go thru a hernia operation yet and a total knee replacement.. Not going to be a fun year.....

See you guys later.. Thanks for your prayers...

my best,

micro.....
