Old friend, HS classmate was a mortician here, ran into 'good ol' boy' setups in this county and how things were handled. Moved on up to Oroville, loved it, and the business, but sadly passed away himself a couple years ago. But it gave us a little of the internal view of the business, his wife also handled the makeup, display side... Son inlaw ran the monument headstone side of it up there, a steady business, too.

But now, everyone is in permanent overload I guess... Even memorials are delayed, so far a couple in our family... Just can't gamble on gatherings, it can wait for better times...

Heavy subject, a couple workmates are MIA, into the system, somewhere, but no way to contact, get updates.. Probably others, I only find out once their emails bounce when the account is closed.. Sad...

A rarely reported aspect of something that's happening all across America.
