...it is no surprise that yankees have rats in their houses and might catch corona virus from them. Southerners would not tolerate such a thing. We do keep chickens in the house for the random bread crumb that might fall from the table and our dog (always named "old blue") for the errant pork chop. Rats are a no no. We have been known to sink so low as to allow a cat indoors for a few moments to clear up such a problem.
