Great, they just dropped it to 70+ here, so some more of the family can give it a shot...

My wife had her Moderna last week, had a bit of a bump and rash, but it seems to the settling down.. I had my 1st Pfizer shot Wednesday, sore a day, but no other reaction... We both have the 2nd shot appointments closer to the end of the month...

Niece & hubby, 65+ had to set appointments in Sacramento to get set up... So it's gradually filling in the blanks.. My own provider was useless, unorganized, so I signed into several others, took the one that worked.

But we still can't get our 'kids' & families set up, both families have issue, have to be super careful... As do we, anyway..

The medical group that our family doctor belongs to just opened-up their vaccine program to people between the ages of 65 and 74. While we were watching the nightly news tonight both my wife and I got the notice on our iPhones. We both logged into the medical group's 'MyChart' website and were able to get appointments for this coming Sunday, February 7th (it was the earliest date that was open). While the rest of the country is gearing up for the Super Bowl, we'll be getting our first doses of the COVID vaccine.

I'll report back how it all went. Not sure which 'flavor' we're getting, although when I asked our doctor last month about when they were expecting to start vaccinating their clients, he explained that it would probably be the Moderna vaccine because their facilities didn't have the super-cold freezers, only normal pharmaceutical freezers.

Anyway, wish us luck.
