There was a shooting incident in Katy, TX last evening where an off-duty police officer spotted a guy breaking into cars outside an apartment complex and shots were fired. The suspect got away, but was later picked-up at a hospital where he had gone for treatment of a gunshot wound he suffered in the shootout. The deputy was unharmed:

The reason I say it was a close call was because our #2 granddaughter was visiting a friend who lives in the apartment complex. They were on the 3rd floor when they heard the gun shots and then all the police cars showing-up. They waited until they heard that it was safe to come down, but when they did, they found that our granddaughter's car had been hit by several rounds. This morning she sent us this picture:

I wonder what the policy is for insurance companies when it comes to covering this sort of damage?
