More is coming out about this shooting incident from last night. It seems that the off-duty police officer was NOT in uniform. The guy "breaking into cars" was actually a resident of the apartment complex who had locked the keys in HIS car and he was trying to jimmy the door to get it open. The off-duty police officer fired first and the other guy returned fire (after all, this IS Texas). It will be interesting to see who it was that fired those SIX shots that hit our granddaughter's car, the police officer or the other guy.
