...your right, I live in the past but in the past America was a better place except for a few things. It don't matter cause it's never going to go back to the way it was an "worse" seems to be the accepted standard.

Why don't *I* move to a different country? Because most of the good ones don't want Americans. I don't want to learn a foreign language or a new culture... might not even be capable of it. I don't want to be the unwanted alien in someone else's nation. I don't want to run the high risk that the U.S. will bar me from returning to see family and friends, letting them come see me, or conduct business. And I don't want to be saddled with dual taxes since the U.S. forces those who surrender their citizenship to continue paying American taxes for a decade or longer.

Leaving the country ain't easy, ribit. But that doesn't mean it's a great place. Remove the barriers and I would prefer Canada, Chili, Panama, Portugal and Costa Rica. If I put some effort into it, I expect I'd find others.

Our nation is in decline. It's a trend that is going to worsen, not improve. I'd far rather be in a nation where the future is bright.
