I have my 2 percocet in me now to try my first therapy exercize post surgery. I also have a doctor meeting that needs to address the complicatons issues of a badly swollen right calf and foot. Very tender spot on that calf midway height right next to shin bone. I cannot get the water to go away . My normal shoe size is 10 medium. My wife and daughter got me some size 11 4E shoes that actually allow my swollen foot to fit inside.. But heck, I have only asked the docs for a week and a half for some help on this leg swelling and pain. It is the primary reason I do not sleep at night...
SO I am seeing a family doc at my promary care office early this afternoon that is not my own doc. Maybe fresh eyes and an earful from me about the lack of response and care about a longtime patient who rarely is ever seen unless absolutely necessary. I am beyond pizzed.
Same goes withe surgeon's staff and lack of response for same thing. Neither seems to want to get me the help I need soI can proceed thru the Physical therapy.
I will report BOTH to a patient advocate after this is done.. Beyond poor.
You folks down thar in Texican country stay safe and hopefully you both have some source of heat iffen yer energy supply from the GREEN BAD DEAL has not begun to functon again. Hope yer governor has learned a little lesson here. I like him a LOT except when I hear that they went in for all these no count windmills which are about a joke.... Y'all gots plenty of oil and gas down thar. Add some real power plants that do not stop when ice storms or no days of wind occur...

This is worst recovery ever after 11 surgeries now. The bad news is the surgeon who is one of the very top neurosurgeons in the midwest, tells me that this ios a six month recovery for this type of procedure and there are not any shortcuts to successful outcomes...
I do not know whether the captain can take that long for full recovery so he does not undo the fusion from the surgery can wait that long on a recovery... He might need to move in with someone who can help him recover and get well for the first time in a long time.... I sure do wish him the very best....

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your prayers for me.. I will ever be thankful and grateful as it was a key to getting me through and having the peace of God calm me down before the surgery.. I saw the surgeon and spinal nerve team as I was rolled out of pre-op and I do not remember a thing after that or even entering into the Operating room. THat is the peace of GOD providing that tranquility and resting in HIM fully in His care....
