One thing is to be sensitive to language and another is to be Woke. Then the Cancel. Free speech is free speech, dudes. Unless it is hate, violence, and conspiracy speech, IT IS FREE SPEECH!

I have a friend who some years ago moved to NY city, worked in Manhattan, and within about a year of living there, she came back home upstate to visit her parents, and came over for dinner and claimed she had gluten issues. Now this is a woman we had spent innumerable times with devouring pastas of all kinds, for years. I told her she ate some shit in NY and she now has a festering sensitivity bowel issue. She didn’t believe me, but I told her the NYC culture had taken over her. To make a long story short, we have enjoyed many plates of pasta since then and “gluten” has become our very own joke. We make sure that martinis are ...gluten free.
Anyway, I don’t know how people have become so gullible. It is very annoying. All the current conspiracies are different but the cause of the problem is most likely the same, herd mentality. And perhaps the internet bears much of the blame.
