“ After the piece of the spike protein is made, the cell breaks down the mRNA strand and disposes of them using enzymes in the cell. It is important to note that the mRNA strand never enters the cell’s nucleus or affects genetic material. This information helps counter misinformation about how mRNA vaccines alter or modify someone’s genetic makeup.”

Just the facts. No internet hogwash. There is no DNA change(s). And there haven’t been any a year after the first doses went into arms. Facts are facts.
The mRNA method is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of treatments down the pike for a whole bunch of vaccines and therapies that eluded us so far.
The J&J vaccine is a traditional vaccine, a single dose that provides protection in about a month after vaccination, similar time frame to the other two in terms of full effectiveness. It is 66% effective at illness and 85% against serious illness. Specifically US 72%, Brazil 66%, S Africa 57% effectiveness. Just at the top range of a good flu vaccine year’s effectiveness. The Pfizer and Moderna are only limited with S Africa, it seems, so far. For the rest they are at 94-95%. You can’t argue with, for example, with nursing home deaths from covid, the most vulnerable population, having gone down 70% in Florida, at the same rate as vaccinations. two thirds of nursing home seniors have been vaxxed. When they are all vaxxed, it will be a new day, a new normal, in those places.
There are choices. For people over 60, I don’t think the J&J is the best choice.
