Of course it is. And those who defend abortion are supporting mass murder. - De A South Dakota Senate panel passed legislation Tuesday to recognize that an abortion is the “intentional termination of the life of a human being in the uterus.” The Rapid City Journal reports state Rep. Jon Hansen, R-Dell Rapids, said his bill, which changes the definition of abortion in state law, is scientifically accurate. It also takes into account different circumstances involving unborn babies, he said. State House Bill 1114 passed unanimously in the Senate Judiciary Commttand now moves to the full state Senate for consideration. In South Dakota law, the current definition of abortion is “the use of any means to intentionally terminate the pregnancy of a woman known to be pregnant with knowledge that the termination with those means will, with reasonable likelihood, cause the death of the fetus.” If the bill passes, the new definition will be the “intentional termination of the life of a human being in the uterus.” “The current definition is simply deficient,” Hansen said. “It doesn’t cover all abortions.” For example, he said, some mothers who are carrying multiple unborn babies have selective abortions, meaning one or more of the babies are “selectively” killed while others live. Hansen said his definition is “more direct” and “scientifically accurate,” according to the report. It also makes it more clear what the purpose of abortion is: to destroy the life of a unique, individual human being. Abortion activists often try to dismiss the fact that life begins at conception as a religious belief, but it is based on science. Numerous medical textbooks, prominent scientists and even some abortion activists admit that life begins at conception and abortions kill human beings. http://www.lifenews.com/2021/03/02/south-dakota-committee-passes-bill-confirming-abortion-terminates-the-life-of-a-human-being/ Gold is $1,581/oz today.
