Our middle son and his wife, he's 50 and she's in her early 40's, got their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this past Wednesday here in LA. LA county, as well as other parts of the state, are now vaccinating food and agriculture workers and they both work for catering companies. The site they went to had just been set-up by FEMA and it was manned by the California National Guard. They were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Our son said that it was perhaps the most organized and smooth running operation that he's ever experienced. They were automatically given follow-up appointments in three weeks.

AWESOME!

Just back from the library.
Last week I told several librarians about the ease in getting the vaccine at Stop & Shop.

Several were working today, one lives in CT so she had to go to a place in her state. She got the Pfizer, but they didn't have it set up for her to automatically get the second one in three weeks, so she'll be waiting for over a month. Usually it's 3 weeks for Pfizer.

Stop & Shop has their system set up to make the next appt for Moderna 4 weeks, same time, same day, they tell you once you get the first shot.

I mentioned how grateful I am that Joe is in office, all four agreed. (this is a conservative area)
