WE do it the easy way. Go to store. Go to SOUP aisle. Purchase Progresso Minnestroni Soup bring home and simmer over medium heat in pot and add whatever things you want to an already very good soup....

Only thing I did different was add 2 polish sausages. Great flavor from them....And I just used spices in the bottles. not the paste stuff...

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoon Gourmet Garden Gourmet Gardenâ„¢ Garlic Stir-In Paste Stir-In Paste
2 tablespoon tomato paste
3 cups tomato sauce
2 cups vegetable stock
1 medium zucchini, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 small yellow squash, chopped
14.5 ounces can northern beans, drained
½ cup elbow macaroni
1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Gourmet Gardenâ„¢ Oregano Stir-in Paste Stir-In Paste
1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Gourmet Gardenâ„¢ Basil Stir-In Paste Stir-In Paste
salt and pepper, to taste

This product has no significant nutritional value.

Preparation
1 Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and Gourmet Garden Garlic Stir-In Paste. Cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add tomato paste; cook, stirring often, for 1 minute.
2 Add tomato sauce and vegetable stock and bring to a boil.
3 Add zucchini, celery, carrot, yellow squash and beans. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
4 Add macaroni pasta. Simmer until pasta is tender, about 12 minutes. Add Gourmet Garden Oregano Stir-In Paste and Gourmet Garden Basil Stir-In Paste. Stir to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
