Re: “You have imo sold yourself short my friend..”
I agree with micro. Why put hard work into something only to shoot for a SUPER EASY sale? In other words, if your boats are consistently selling quickly then you are probably selling them too cheap. You might want to change your pricing formula a little to see if you can still get sales but at a somewhat higher price.

Of course, every boat is different. You might not have a good way of knowing what the market value of a given boat truly is. In that case, you're already doing the right thing. But from what you've been saying, it sounds like they're getting snapped up like hot cakes... just about always to the first person who looks at them. Are we mistaken?

If what you're doing is finding what your boat models are selling for elsewhere and pricing your similarly, I'll point out that your boats have been repaired to where they're like new. Not new, but like it. The ones you're seeing advertised probably haven't been. They're probably used, battered and worn. Yours are better.

You've sold enough of your boats over the years that you should know what they can sell for if you stop trying to give your buyers such a deal and instead price them for ALMOST as much as they're worth. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's the American way.

That's my two cents.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I do not recall saying that about ANY Livingston.

You devalue your own work. How much TIME and effort did you put into repairing and restoring this boat or any other? What is your Labor rate? then, what is the actual value of the boat?

Greed?????? There is nothing GREEDY about selling a product for a profit. Profit is NOT a dirty word or greedy and is exactly what makes business and the economy and employment happen.. Without it, nobody could be employed and nobody else could afford to purchase anything from anyone else..

I have not sugegsted RAPING someone for some ludicrous absurd amount of money. I have sugegsted that maybe withe the quality of the restoration and the current values of Tracker BAss Boats that you could have easily listed it for three grand instead of two and likely sold it....

I am only trying to show you that you may well be selling youir LABOR and TIME for Central American wages and it is not necessary. I WANT you to make more money and that your work speaks for itself.

I won't say anything else though. Apparently my 45 years of manufacturing products, selling them in the national and international marketplace and putting pricing on them doesn't mean much.. I also have taught in Business Colege at University of Cincinnati someo f the mistakes Textbooks have printed that are simply rubbish in the real world.
So, I leave you only with this phrase:
PROFIT is NOT a DIRTY WORD

Jesus said that THE LABORER is WORTHY of his Hire..

You have imo sold yourself short my friend..

You can take your GREED line and stick it as well.

Good luc. When I want something at one half price I will call you.. Apparently that is all you believe you are worth.. And all the other idiots that agreed with you...

See ya..
