My grandaughter, Camryn, was inducted intot he National Honor Society yesterday atthe High School as a Junior.
She also has already received the very top athletic Scholarship offer from our first choice of Christian University which is only an hour away and my wife's sister lives there and worked there before retring a few months ago.
She is one of the top 3 catchers in girls fast pitch softball in the state of Ohio. SO now both her and her brother who is one year ahead of her are inducted into the National Honor Society. What a proud time to be a grandparent.. My wife and I will go over to their house later to congratulate Camryn in person and to give her and her brother a gift for academic excellence and acheivement..
Camryn has Division 1 schools that are very interested in her also but shew ants to stay close to home and in a smaller setting. The academics at Cedarville are very excellent and they actually play a lot of softball games against D1 teams and beat them. Their program is is very strong and the coach happens to be a Pastor as well. Needless to say, grandpa and him have become good friends.
Its one of the rewards for being older. Grandchildren..
I have ben blessed with TWO really great ones locally and have two much younger ones in Virginia down around Zim's area.
Can't wait to see them. Hopefully tonight...
