Yes sir it is.... She is still taking therapy regularly but High School team Girls softball started up now.. She is THE captain of that team as a Junior and also acts as an assistant coach with the rest of the infielders.
These kids are not as good as a Traveling Select Girls softball teams that plays at the highest levels and is where the Universities do the vast majority of their recruiting from.
So Cam is trying to work with the "infielders" and pitchers. Most of these kids that play infield are not accustyomed to having someone behind the plate that will snap throw a ball on a dead line from squatting position on a bee line.. The ball gets to the bag very quickly so the infielders need to be ready to take a throw like that and get in proper position. She does have a Howitzer for a throwing arm.. Grandpa helped teach her some of the catching techniques as I caught on our high school baseball team for 4 years.. I also played centerfiled when I wasn't catching.. So I taught Camryn how to throw a dart on a line from squatting position to any base.
Nobnody steals on her.. Every tournament someone tries and gets gunned down by a lot. After that the rest of the games noboy else tries. Word gets around quick..
Obviously I am really proud of her athletic prowess but I really wish she would completely recover from that car accident.. I am afraid she will re-injure herself and not be able to play College ball. I am so loking forward to that.....
