it's all of 8 feet oerall length and shallow. That's all I was looking at... If there's a market for them and people buy them its all good. Are these racing on Rivers or lakes??
As you can see I am not informed on racing of boats... My brother owned a 26 foot Lake Cabin Cruiser he kept at Cumberland Lake in Kentucky.
His fantasy lasted one year. The day he was suckered into buying it was his happiest day of his life...
The day he unloaded it was the Very best day of his life..
Money pit.. He discovered unles you own your own lake, pier, dock, and bring yer own gasoline cans filled to take care of your boat, it gets quite expensive. Not including upkeep/maintenance..
So other than this, I don't know jack about boats...
I am an remain very happy for YOU that you have found a marketplace for something you can make some money at with the skill set you have developed over decades.
I am a woodworker/carpenter and a steel fabricator and a designer and mechanical engineer. I use my skillsets around my house and help family members with home improvement projects... I have never attempted to repair and restore BOATS so you are into something I have no knowledge of.. I think on carpentry we have a lot of things in common.
Anyway, congrats to you on earning income doing something you enjoy. I only wish you would make a little MORE off each sale by not starting at the sell it hot, fast, and cheap price... Just wishing YOU would make more off your quality workmanship and sweat equity..... Rooting for you !!!
