Just watch again, and pay attention to how fast he switches magazines, and he could have multiple magazines, and lots of bullets to kill people with.
The AR-15 and magazines talk are straw arguments when you really know a few facts. Lots of handguns have 21 and 24 round magazines. LOTS.
So is a straw argument that universal background checks and especially in private sales are a “burden on law abiding citizens.”
It’s not a burden to get an eye exam before getting a license to drive a car. It is assurance that you won’t drive off the road or someone, cause an accident, get people maimed and/or killed. It is just republican BULLSHIT to talk about “burdens”. I don’t feel burdened to be checked out before I buy a firearm. I feel GOOD and assured that it is something that can prevent someone else who would be a danger to me to have one.
It is plain logic.
