yes sir, That was on my initial visit when all he could do was to feel with his fingers. He said he did not feel a henia. Then again, I do not believe he felt the actual area where the pain is at either.

He has the CT scan in his possession but is on vacation and will be back next week.

I have already talked to my primary care doctor and a second opinion is definitely going to happn.. Either the radioogist is right or this surgeon is right. I am thinking I am more inclined to have another radiologist look at the CT Scan and see if they see it. I suspect this could be a small tearing on the extremel right edge of the slight bulge if you are looking at me.. That is where the pain from it is located. Something is amiss Or I wold not have pain there and why the long bulge??

Oh well. Next week is not far away.. Heck, this ting has lots of good company. A still healing spine, incision area that is extremely sensitive, swollen leg and foot, pain shooting down my calf, and of course, the lack of blood flow from the DVT blood clot in the foot/leg joint. One unstable with zero cartilege right knee joint. Other than that everything is fine.... lol!!

All I wanted was to be out of my crippling lower back pain.. Sheeesh......

I really do not want to have to undergo another surgery right now as I am too weak and my back is still hurting but not as much as it was I need to gain some strength.

I am two months past surgery on a six month recovery..

As Gomer would say, He's a mess ! lol!!

Re: “and yet the surgeon is looking and saying he does not feel it”
So he's saying it's not a hernia but isn't saying what it IS? He doesn't sound particularly competent or thorough to me. If most of the doctors are saying that it's a hernia, most of the doctors are probably the ones to believe.
