yea, virginia did some real shady crap with their Covid counts last year.. As well as with their positive Covid tests counts. They posted on their web site Covid tests per day and how many were positive.
Example:700 tests in county XYZ of which 430 were positive.
Implying that their was 430 new cases. But reality is that people who were hospitalized would be tested over and over again. So some of those 430 positive tests were the same people being tested two, three or five times in a week. After they got caught fudging the numbers, they restated their counts and changed the layout of the website.
