But the kneejerk reactions are exactly what destroy people's careers and are said to reveal embedded racism, if the person talking is white.

I'd rather grant passes to everyone and have a broad highway for conversation. But should the folks who immediately label others as racists over kneejerk reactions themselves get a pass when they make a similar mistake?

We can't have a situation in which the so-called woke rules are applied unequally. If the destruction is mutually-assured, maybe the accusations and the labelling will stop. Everyone should look in the mirror and figure if assuming the worst motives is going to lead to a solution, or if it is part of the problem.

LeBron deleted his angry tweet, and apologized for not learning all of the facts.

I'll cut him some slack, being black and witnessing all the injustices makes it easy to assume this was another one.
