The way that senate seats are assigned is, generally-speaking, nuts.

States don't make a viable means of assigning seats. Even two Dakotas don't have a whole senate seat's worth of Americans.

If they want a body with 100 seats, then create packages of 3.3m or so people and have each one supply a senator.

Perhaps it's time to redo the whole state structure.

I think North Dakota Population: 762,062 & South Dakota Population: 884,659 should be one state. They don't deserve 4 senators.
