Since the UK started focussing on second jabs

the death rate has stopped falling as fast.

I think you get most of your advantage with covid from the first jab. The second one just makes it less likely you will get symptoms. But death once vaccinated one time is extremely unlikely.

That kinda correlates with the US, which has many more people doing two jabs than the UK but hasn't seen its deaths drop as fast. The first jab is the key. Get them done as fast as possible.
