That is a sad ending to a long life of prior joy..

But, like majority of people in their mid to upper 80's, they are near the end of THIS LIFE and have little left in them to fight off most things that younger, even by only ten years, people can... The immune system just is not as strong.

The NON-VAX shot would likely have killed her as well. The reaction to it would be more than her system and strngth to deal with.. That is a shame and tragic and yes, she shall be missed by those who loved her and knew her...

I hope she flew straight into the Lord's wide oopen arms waiting to welcome her home in heaven... I would rather be there as well..

I do not fear death as only my body will be left behind but my Spirit will continue on in a new body that lasts eternity and I can be with everyone who loves to sing, 'Oh How I love Jesus, because HE first loved me".

I hope that was a song this dear woman could cherish as well...

Earlier today, I was on FB reading the page for one of my son's high school friends. On December 1st, she posted an epitaph for her Grandmother, "Janet Patricia Anderson Maxwell of Squirrel Hill, age 85, died on Sunday, November 29 from complications associated with Covid 19." Janet, by all accounts, was a wonderful woman who had a hard life, losing her husband in 1964, a month before the birth of their son, yet who was always smiling and often whistling (favorite song, “By Myself,” sung by Fred Astaire in the 1953 movie “Band Wagon.”) I think we'd have liked her.

Her granddaughter goes on to say: "The saddest part about her death is that Jan ended up dying alone, not because she wasn’t deeply loved by many, many people, but due to Covid-19 restrictions preventing Susan and Bobby from being with her at the end."

Covid-19 is NOT a malady anyone should take lightly.
