There has been a huge increase in personal savings, from a ballpark 12% to the current 27.6%. But, again, the point the author is making is that many people will save the money as they perceive rising prices and economic problems, not that most are perceiving it right now. When inflation is more apparent, he thinks government handouts will be less effective at spurring economic growth. I agree with him.

Businesses operate this way too. They are less inclined to borrow and spend money toward their own growth when they forecast recession, and more inclined to do so when they think big profits lie ahead.

Thisis exactly why they did this.. It will help bring down the economy by inflation and hyper inflation and so the radicals that despise American Greatness will get their dream, crashing the American economy....

Dementia Joe hasn't got a single solitary clue as to what is going on and apparently the writer of this article did not think too deeply before penning that particular statement..
