I see. That makes sense.. There have been many people I have known over the years from Church that are from another state who just moved to greater suburbia of cincy and discovered that housing costs here were suibstantially lower than where they lived so they could literally buy much larger home for less money...

I would guess Kansas would be the same... For example, $250 K gets you a pretty large house in a nice community.
350 grand gets you an estate in a gated community..
That same money in the northeast gets you a garage and a shed. LOL!!!

I get it.. Makes sense to me.

He said he'd grown up in KS. He must have had positive memories, but he also said the reason he was moving was because home prices are so high here. I gather that he was able to sell his small NH house and afford a far larger one in KS. Makes sense to me... except for the whole LIVING IN KANSAS part.
