...retired at 57, I am now 76. Wouldn't change a thing. Doing "NOTHING" is grossly under rated.

That's realy cool. How large do they get Bob? Be they get some serious weight to some of them..

I don't mean to be nosy but as you have been there for awhile I wondered if you also could weld seeing as that would be a principal operation in the process...

I could see a fab shop to supply even sub assemblies or component units iffen ya didn't want to get into something too large.. If ya don't like being idle and want to stay really busy then a nice new facility could be just the ticket for ya.. My second one took a couple years from start to finish and it was so exhausting at times. Once I got it inspected and approved by the County and State money thieves it was a bunch of 14 hour days until I was able to finally get a competent core of personnel to work like I did and needed them to. less than 5% of folks hired lasted more than a couple weeks..

Finally got a cracker jack group together and then we had fun. Always neat to relax and show appreciation and a good time when the team busts arse and and we succeed together... Once I got a competent plant manager to oversee the plant then I could concentate on new business and sales.

Very gratifying when your dreams and hard work come to fruition. So if you got the desire and drive and patiece, follow your dream cuz you only get one chance in this life to do that.. You can always sell a successful business to someone when you are ready to move on...

I like your thinking.... Reminds me of me about twenty years ago... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
