Playing the 'local heretic' here. . .
Looking around, I look at a planet we named Mercury,
and it is so blasted hot life as we understand it
wouldn't have a prayer.
And I look at Mars, not big enough for a decent
atmosphere and a bit too cold for life as we know it.
Which leaves Earth. Perfect size for a nice atmosphere,
a BIG moon for tidal stirring. And several billions
of years for Mother Nature to work her magic.
Oh, wait, Mother Nature is another God, isn't she?
One cannot help but look and realize that this world did not just happen all on its own nor the alignments of the solar system or stars or SUN being jus the perfect distance from earth to heat it but not boil it nor so far away we are an ice cube either.
I can see the working of theh and of God in all of nature and just look in awe.
